Ham Balls

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground ham
  • 1 lb ground round
  • 1 lb ground lean lamb
  • 2 cups soft breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 make the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients.
  • 2 cook just until it gets bubbly, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 to make the ham balls, mix all ham ball ingredients together.
  • 4 form into balls the size of a walnut.
  • 5 drop meat balls into sauce and cook slowly for 1 hour.
  • 6 these freeze well.
