Easy Ham, And Noodle Casserole

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 6 ounces egg noodles, wide
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, dry
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage, dried,and crumbled
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups skim milk
  • 6 ounces ham, reduced fat
  • 1 cup peas, frozen,thawed and drained
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons croutons, fat free,crushed

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 cook the noodles using the directions on the package, omitting the salt.
  • 3 in a medium-size bowl combine the flour, mustard, sage, nutmeg, and pepper; slowly whisk in the milk and set aside.
  • 4 combine cooked, and drained noodles with the ham and peas.
  • 5 add the milk mixture and stir well.
  • 6 spoon into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle with the crutons.
  • 7 cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  • 8 remove the foil and bake 10 minutes longer until bubbly and lightly browned.
