Emeals Vegetarian Avocado Rounds

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 pita bread rounds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tomato, sliced thin
  • alfalfa sprout
  • 3 avocados, pitted, seeded and sliced thin
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 slices cooked imitation bacon (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 split pitas to make 2 round crusts each.
  • 2 combine mayonnaise, hot sauce and cumin.
  • 3 spread on pita rounds.
  • 4 top with cheddar cheese.
  • 5 place under a broiler on the middle rack and toast until cheese melts.
  • 6 top each round with tomato slices, alfalfa sprouts and sliced avocado.
  • 7 season with salt and pepper.
  • 8 if desired coursely chop meatless bacon and spread on top.
