Black And Lamb Chili

Total Time: 6 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4-1 lb boneless lamb, cut into 1/2 in. cubes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans or 1 (15 ounce) can other beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped or 1/2 a can chopped tomato
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 if using fresh tomato, peel by droping in a pot of boiling water, immediatly removing and droping in a bowl of ice water and peeling. you can leave the skin on, it is personal preference.
  • 2 chop lamb and place in a crockpot. dump all the other ingredients on top. stir.
  • 3 cook on low for 6 hours.
