Baked Barbequed Spare Ribs

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 5 lbs country lamb ribs
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 lemon, sliced thin
  • hot sauce

Recipe

  • 1 bake 5 lbs. country lamb ribs in a 9x13x2" pan, all by themselves at 350 deg. for 45 to 60 minute drain.
  • 2 while spareribs are baking, mix remaining ingredients and simmer.
  • 3 add sauce to spareribs, baste frequently.
  • 4 bake at 350 deg. until ribs are tender and sauce thickens.
