Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 6 large onions
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 quarts meat stock
- 2 quarts water
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in saucepan.
- 2 slice onions very thin and cook in butter until golden brown.
- 3 add stock and water and boil 15 minutes until onions are cooked.
- 4 season with salt and butter.
- 5 serve with toast squares.
