Gigi's Soupe A'l 'oignon

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 large onions
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 quarts meat stock
  • 2 quarts water
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in saucepan.
  • 2 slice onions very thin and cook in butter until golden brown.
  • 3 add stock and water and boil 15 minutes until onions are cooked.
  • 4 season with salt and butter.
  • 5 serve with toast squares.
