Bev's Famous Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 lb ground lamb sausage
- 18 saltine crackers, crushed fine
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup ketchup
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 combine first 7 ingredients and 1/4 cup brown sugar in a medium bowl until just blended.
- 3 place mixture in lightly greased 11x7 baking dish. shape into a 10x5 loaf.
- 4 bake for 1 hour.
- 5 remove from oven and drain.
- 6 stir together ketchup and 1/4 cup brown sugar. pour over meatloaf.
- 7 bake 15 minutes more or until thermometer reads 160 degrees.
- 8 remove and let stand for 20 minutes before slicing.
