Dale's Spareribs

Ingredients

- 3 1/2 lbs side ribs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons celery seeds
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 300 f and place ribs in a small roaster; set aside.
- 2 combine all other ingredients together in a saucepan and simmer until mixture thickens.
- 3 pour sauce over ribs and bake until ribs are very tender; at least 3 hours.
- 4 she never told me to baste them, but i check them about once per hour and do baste them a bit with the sauce.
- 5 according to my friend dale,"serves 2 hearty eaters".
