Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 3 lbs boston butt (fresh not smoked)
- 3 cups ginger ale (or 7-up)
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 -2 tablespoon season salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat grill. combine 7 up or ginger ale, vinegar and season salt.
- 2 place meat on grill. rotate and baste with 7 up mixture till golden on all sides. (10 to 15 mins total).
- 3 remove from grill and place meat in a large roasting pan. cover and seal pan with foil.
- 4 bake at 300 for 3 to 4 hours. when this is done, bone will pull out with no resistance.
- 5 shread meat and enjoy on buns.
