Boston Butt Bar B Que

Total Time: 4 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 lbs boston butt (fresh not smoked)
  • 3 cups ginger ale (or 7-up)
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 -2 tablespoon season salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat grill. combine 7 up or ginger ale, vinegar and season salt.
  • 2 place meat on grill. rotate and baste with 7 up mixture till golden on all sides. (10 to 15 mins total).
  • 3 remove from grill and place meat in a large roasting pan. cover and seal pan with foil.
  • 4 bake at 300 for 3 to 4 hours. when this is done, bone will pull out with no resistance.
  • 5 shread meat and enjoy on buns.
