Diane's Famous "seafood In A Loaf " Dip

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can drained shrimp
  • 1 (4 ounce) can drained crabmeat
  • 2 loaves french bread
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 mix first 6 ingredients until combined.
  • 2 gently mix in crab and shrimp.
  • 3 stuff mixture into a hollowed out loaf and top with the parmesan cheese.
  • 4 wrap the loaf in foil leaving the top exposed.
  • 5 bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • 6 cut up the second loaf of bread, as well as the inside of the first loaf and use for dipping.
