Benito Kebab

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs lamb loin
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • black pepper
  • crushed red hot pepper
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 1. cut meat in cubes 1/2 to 1".
  • 2 2. put in a pot along with the water, oil, bay leaf, red and black peper.
  • 3 3. cook till water is gone (check for tenderness if not soft add more water).
  • 4 4. when water is gone, stir for 5 min and add wine.
  • 5 5. when the wine is evaporated, add onions and stirr till golden.
  • 6 6. serve hot with greens!
  • 7 7. merlot at 18 deg c!
