Easy Spaghetti

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (1 lb) box spaghetti
  • 1 (24 ounce) bottle prego spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • olive oil
  • crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or more if you like it sweeter)

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef in large skillet, drain oil.
  • 2 add prego sauce to meat, stir.
  • 3 add a drizzle of olive oil (i usually just make an "s" shape on top of the sauce and leave it at that).
  • 4 add the sugar, and sprinkle in some crushed red pepper (to taste).
  • 5 stir and heat on low so it doesn't splatter everywhere.
  • 6 salt & pepper to taste.
  • 7 prepare the spaghetti as indicated on box. remember add noodles at rolling boil for at least 9-10 minutes for "done" noodles.
  • 8 drain in collander. do not rinse.
  • 9 add noodles to a plate and top with sauce, and parmesan cheese, or shredded medium cheddar on top!
  • 10 enjoy. leave comments for easy spaghetti!
