Broiled Irish Sirloin

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 (8 ounce) thick-cut sirloin steaks
  • 1/2 cup fat-free margarine, melted
  • pepper, to taste
  • sea salt, to taste
  • 2 cups guinness stout
  • 2 cups coca-cola
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons onions, minced
  • 2 tablespoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix marinade ingredients in a large bowl with a secure lid.
  • 2 using the tines of a fork, pierce the steaks on both sides several times.
  • 3 drown steak in marinade, cover tightly, and chill overnight.
  • 4 set the oven to broil, and line a large baking pan with foil.
  • 5 remove the steak from the marinade, and set it aside.
  • 6 place steaks in pan, and brush with half of margarine. broil 6 inches from the heat source for 8 minutes.
  • 7 turn steaks, and brush with remaining margarine. broil additional 5 minutes.
  • 8 brush steaks with remaining marinade; broil 2 minutes and remove from oven.
  • 9 season steaks to taste with pepper and sea salt.
