Ingredients

- 3 lbs broiler-fryer chickens, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 dashes black pepper
- 1 cup dry sauterne wine
Recipe
- 1 flour chicken lightly and brown in a heavy skillet or dutch oven.
- 2 combine all the other ingredients and pour over the chicken.
- 3 cover and simmer for about an hour, or until tender.
