Dahi Meat (mutton In Yogurt)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
  • 150 ml curds
  • 3 cardamoms
  • 2 teaspoons cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 150 ml cold water
  • 2 teaspoons tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 450 g lamb, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil and fry the onion until soft.
  • 2 stir in the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, cardamom and garam masala.
  • 3 add the meat and fry until browned.
  • 4 stir in the tomato purée, salt, water and cornflour and curd. bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the lamb is tender.
  • 5 serve with rice.
