Crock Pot Cranberry Lamb Roast

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 lbs boneless lamb loin roast
  • 1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place roast in slow cooker.
  • 2 in medium bowl mash cranberry sauce;stir in sugar, juice, mustard and cloves.
  • 3 pour over roast. cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
  • 4 remove roast and keep warm. skim fat from juices.
  • 5 measure 2 cups of the cooking liquid adding water if necessary;pour in a saucepan.
  • 6 bring to a boil and thicken with mixture of cornstarch and water.
  • 7 season with salt and pepper. serve with sliced lamb.
