Chinese Sweet And Sour Lamb

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs lamb ribs
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet mixed pickle juice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet pickle
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, melt butter and add cut up lamb ribs. season to taste with salt and pepper. brown.
  • 2 remove ribs from pan and place in a bean pot.
  • 3 mix together remaining ingredients in the saucepan and bring to a boil. turn down heat to medium and simmer until sauce runs clear. add to ribs.
  • 4 bake in oven for 2 to 3 hours at 300°f.
  • 5 serve over rice.
