Chinese Sweet And Sour Lamb

Ingredients

- 2 lbs lamb ribs
- 1 1/2 cups sweet mixed pickle juice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon soya sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet pickle
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan, melt butter and add cut up lamb ribs. season to taste with salt and pepper. brown.
- 2 remove ribs from pan and place in a bean pot.
- 3 mix together remaining ingredients in the saucepan and bring to a boil. turn down heat to medium and simmer until sauce runs clear. add to ribs.
- 4 bake in oven for 2 to 3 hours at 300°f.
- 5 serve over rice.
