Ale Braised Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 3/4 lbs lamb chops (4 thick cut)
- 1/2 cup pale ale
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh marjoram, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 in small skillet, saute onion in 1 t oil until transluscent. transfer to plate or bowl & set aside.
- 3 in remaining 1t olive oil, sear lamb chops.
- 4 transfer chops to 9x13" baking dish and top with onions.
- 5 in small bowl, whisk together ale, salt, pepper and marjoram; pour over lamb chops.
- 6 cover and bake 45-60 minutes till cooked through.
