Ham And Asparagus Roll-ups

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 9 ounces deli smoked ham
  • 5 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 lb asparagus, about 15 spears,trimmed
  • ground black pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 flatten and dry the ham slices.
  • 3 stack ham in piles of 2 slices each; spread each stack with 1 tsp of cream cheese.
  • 4 sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
  • 5 place 1 asparagus spear on one of the long sides of each ham stack; roll up.
  • 6 place in 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • 7 bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
  • 8 note: you can make this ahead, just assemble as directed, cover tightly with plastic wrap and foil.
  • 9 refrigerate overnight or until ready to use.
  • 10 uncover and bake as directed.
