Ginger Beef

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced beef
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sherry wine
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon msg
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 2 green onions, cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths
- 6 slices ginger, about 1-inch x 1 1/2-inch, peeled
- 1/2 cup water
Recipe
- 1 marinate meat in cornstarch, sherry, egg , sesame oil, msg, soy sauce and sugar for 30 minutes.
- 2 heat oil in frying pan until hot.
- 3 stir-fry green onions and ginger for 1 minute.
- 4 add meat mixture and stir-fry for 5 more minutes.
- 5 add water and cook for 1 more minute.
- 6 serve hot.
