Ginger Beef

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced beef
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon msg
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • 2 green onions, cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths
  • 6 slices ginger, about 1-inch x 1 1/2-inch, peeled
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 marinate meat in cornstarch, sherry, egg , sesame oil, msg, soy sauce and sugar for 30 minutes.
  • 2 heat oil in frying pan until hot.
  • 3 stir-fry green onions and ginger for 1 minute.
  • 4 add meat mixture and stir-fry for 5 more minutes.
  • 5 add water and cook for 1 more minute.
  • 6 serve hot.
