Flying Saucers

Total Time: 42 mins Preparation Time: 12 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 large cooking apple
  • 2 tablespoons mincemeat
  • 1 pat butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • cream or custard, to serve

Recipe

  • 1 wash,dry and cut the apple in half horizontally.
  • 2 remove the tough part of the core.
  • 3 leave the outside intact.
  • 4 stuff the hollow with the micemeat then pin the 2 halfs together with toothpicks.
  • 5 rub the outside with butter & roll with the sesame seeds.
  • 6 bake at 375 for 30 minuites until it "lifts off" nicely.
  • 7 serve imediatly with the cream or custard.
