Firakh Matbukha Bi I Zabadi - Egyptian Chicken In Yoghurt-mint S

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, whole
  • 10 1/2 ounces yoghurt
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup mint leaf, chopped
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 divide chicken into pieces.
  • 2 fry chicken pieces until golden brown.
  • 3 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 4 season with salt and pepper and place in a baking pan.
  • 5 mix yoghurt with egg and cornstarch until smooth.
  • 6 pour over chicken pieces.
  • 7 cover and bake at 350 degrees f for 30 minutes.
  • 8 finely chop mint leaves and mix into yoghurt after 20 minutes.
  • 9 serve with vegetables and rice.
