Easy Lasagna - No Ricotta

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400. cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. meanwhile, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, and pepper in skillet until beef is browned; drain.
  • 2 return beef to skillet and add the spaghetti sauce, water, parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of the mozzarella. stir to mix.
  • 3 lightly spray 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray. place 3 lasagna noodles in bottom. add 1/3 of the meat mixture. repeat layers twice, ending with a layer of the meat mixture on the top.
  • 4 sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella on top. bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
