Crispy Mandarin Riblets

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 lbs lamb spareribs, sawed in thirds across bones by butcher
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 cut ribs into 1-rib pieces.
  • 2 place in steamer basket or on steamer rack.
  • 3 set basket over boiling water, cover pan and steam 30 minutes.
  • 4 meanwhile combine soy sauce, sherry and garlic in large bowl then add ribs and stir to coat each rib well.
  • 5 marinate 1 hour, stirring frequently.
  • 6 remove ribs from marinade and place, meaty side up, on rack of broiler pan.
  • 7 bake in 425 degree oven 15 minutes, or until brown and crispy.
  • 8 serve with warm mandarin peach sauce.
