Family Goulash

Ingredients

- 1 1/3 lbs stewing beef
- 4 yellow onions
- 6 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1 2/3 cups vegetable broth
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 325°f.
- 2 cut the meat into cubes.
- 3 peel and cut the onions and garlic into thin slices.
- 4 saute the onions and garlic in the margarine until soft.
- 5 add the meat, brown slightly.
- 6 add the rest of the ingredients, stir and let it get to a boil.
- 7 cover the pan and put it into the preheated oven.
- 8 let simmer until the meat is tender, approximately 2 hours.
