Glazed Lamb Chops And Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 (4 ounce) boneless lamb chops
  • 3/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 2 medium tart apples, thinly sliced
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle lamb chops with sage and salt.
  • 2 in a large skillet, brown chops in pil on both sides, and transfer to an 11x7 baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  • 3 stir flour into pan drippings until blended.
  • 4 gradually stir in broth, and vinegar.
  • 5 bring to a boil, and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened.

  • 7 arrange apples over chops, and sprinkle with brown sugar.

  • 9 bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
