Galveston Gourmet's Lasagna-style Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb ground chuck or 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 12 ounces v-8 vegetable juice
- 6 -8 ounces egg noodles, cooked
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, finely shredded
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 brown meat; drain and stir in garlic, salt, pepper and v-8 juice.
- 3 simmer on low for 30 minutes.
- 4 in a separate bowl, combine cooked noodles, chopped onions, sour cream and cream cheese, mixing well.
- 5 grease a 2 quart casserole dish and place noodle mixture in the bottom of the casserole.
- 6 top noodle mixture with the meat mixture.
- 7 cover meat with all of the grated cheese.
- 8 bake for 20 minutes.
