Easy Meat Sauce For Pasta - Quick And Wonderful!

Ingredients
- 3 lbs pasta sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs pasta sauce
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 6 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3/4 cup red wine
Recipe
- 1 pour all sauce (both bottles) into a heavy pot or dutch oven. start heating the sauce over med-low heat.
- 2 heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a sauté pan (medium heat) then sprinkle salt, pepper and parsley over. cook the meat--chop up the meat as much as you can while cooking it- until cooked through. then add the meat to the sauce.
- 3 heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in the same pan and sauté the garlic until cooked and slightly brown --donĂ¢€™t overcook. then pour the garlic into the sauce.
- 4 heat the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil into the same pan and sauté the onions until soft and light brown. then add the onions to the sauce.
- 5 pour the red wine into the sauce.
- 6 simmer partially covered for 1 hour (mixing often) over low heat.
- 7 serve over your favorite pasta - cooked al denté -- sprinkle with grated parmesan.
