Crock Pot Black Beans And Rum

Ingredients

- 1 lb dried black beans
- 1 ham hock
- 1 small onion
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup rum
- 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- sour cream
Recipe
- 1 place beans in slow cooker and add next 7 ingredients.
- 2 cook on low for 8 hours.
- 3 remove ham and bay leaf. cut meat off the bone; return to pot.
- 4 in a bowl, combine flour, rum and tabasco sauce. stir into beans and blend well.
- 5 serve with sour cream.
