Baby-back Ribs With Homemade Bbq Sauce

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs lamb baby back ribs, cut into several pieces
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 place ribs in a large pot with enough water to cover.
  • 2 bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover.
  • 3 simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  • 4 meanwhile, mix the rest of ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • 5 bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring often.
  • 6 heat oven broiler. (can also be grilled.).
  • 7 line a broiler pan with foil and place the ribs, meat side down on the rack.
  • 8 brush with half of the sauce.
  • 9 broil 4 inches from the heat source for 6-7 minutes.
  • 10 turn over, brush with the remaining sauce and broil for 6-7 more minutes, or until edges are slightly charred.
