Ingredients

- 3 lbs beef brisket
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 peppercorns
- 1 whole allspice
- salt and pepper
- 2 cups water
- 12 small onions
- 2 lbs fresh green beans
Recipe
- 1 rub the brisket with garlic, salt and pepper.
- 2 brown in a little oil.
- 3 put in water, spices and onions
- 4 simmer covered for 3 hours.
- 5 tip the string beans; add to the meat and simmer for 1/2 hour more.
