Cantonese Meatballs

Ingredients

- 24 meatballs
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
Recipe
- 1 brown meatballs. drain pineapple, reserving juice.
- 2 combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, vinegar, ketchup and cornstarch. cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
- 3 add meatballs and simmer 10 minutes. remove from heat and add pineapple.
- 4 let cool. place in freezer bag. label and freeze.
- 5 to serve: thaw. pour into skillet and heat until bubbly. serve with rice.
