Char Siu (roast Lamb)

Total Time: 1 hr 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs boneless lamb
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sake (rice wine)
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup catsup

Recipe

  • 1 cut lamb into 1 and 1/2" triangles.
  • 2 place into baking pan.
  • 3 in a large mixing bowl combine sugar, soy sauce and sake.
  • 4 mix together well.
  • 5 add oyster sauce, garlic and catsup.
  • 6 mix thoroughly.
  • 7 pour sauce over lamb.
  • 8 bake in oven at 325 for 1 and 1/2 hours.
