Char Siu (roast Lamb)

Ingredients

- 2 lbs boneless lamb
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sake (rice wine)
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup catsup
Recipe
- 1 cut lamb into 1 and 1/2" triangles.
- 2 place into baking pan.
- 3 in a large mixing bowl combine sugar, soy sauce and sake.
- 4 mix together well.
- 5 add oyster sauce, garlic and catsup.
- 6 mix thoroughly.
- 7 pour sauce over lamb.
- 8 bake in oven at 325 for 1 and 1/2 hours.
